Who we are

This website is run by Birdview Logistics Ltd (“we”, “us”), a removals, property clearance and courier company based in Liverpool. We are the data controller for personal data collected through this site. You can contact us about privacy at [email protected] or on 07351 681489.

What we collect and why

When you request a quote we collect your name, email address, phone number, pickup and drop-off locations, the items or job details you give us, your preferred date and any notes. We use this to prepare your quote, contact you about it and, if you book, to carry out the job. Our lawful basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and performing that contract.

If you arrived from one of our adverts or a tagged link, we also record which campaign or website sent you (for example “Google Ads”). We use this to understand which advertising works. This is only stored in your browser if you accept cookies.

Who we share it with

We use trusted service providers to run the site and send emails (our web host and our email delivery provider). They process data only on our instructions. If you accept cookies, Google and Meta also receive information about your visit as described below. We never sell your personal data.

How long we keep it

Quote enquiries that don't lead to a booking are kept for up to 12 months. Records of completed jobs are kept for up to 6 years for accounting and insurance purposes.

Cookies

We only use non-essential cookies if you click “Accept” on our cookie banner. If you accept, we use:

  • Google Analytics to see how many people visit, which pages they view and where they came from.
  • Google Ads to measure when someone who clicked one of our adverts requests a quote or calls us.
  • Meta (Facebook/Instagram) Pixel to measure and improve our adverts on those platforms.

If you reject, none of these are loaded. We also store your cookie choice in your browser so we don't ask again. You can change your mind at any time:

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, to object to or restrict how we use it, and to data portability. To exercise any of these, contact us using the details above. If you're unhappy with how we handle your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
