Birdview Logistics Ltd - Professional Courier & Delivery Services
General
By hiring Birdview Logistics, the client agrees to the terms outlined in this agreement.
Liability for Goods
Birdview Logistics handles all items with care, but is not liable for damage to items that are not professionally packed by our team.
Important Notice:
- • The client is responsible for ensuring all items are properly packed unless otherwise arranged.
- • Items of high value (e.g. TVs, electronics, antiques) must be declared in writing prior to the move for any insurance coverage to be considered.
Inspection at Delivery
Clients must inspect all items immediately upon delivery.
Time-Sensitive:
Any visible damage must be reported at the time of delivery or within 24 hours in writing. Claims made beyond this period may not be considered.
Insurance
Coverage Included:
Basic goods-in-transit insurance is included, covering visible external physical damage to professionally packed items.
Insurance Exclusions:
- Mechanical/electrical failure not caused by external damage
- Items packed by the client
- Damage discovered after delivery without timely inspection
Excluded Items
We do not accept responsibility for:
- Items of exceptional value unless declared
- Perishable goods, pets, hazardous materials
- Internal faults in electronic items not caused by external impact
Delays and Cancellations
While we strive to meet agreed delivery times, Birdview Logistics is not liable for delays caused by traffic, weather, or other conditions beyond our control.
Cancellation Policy:
Cancellations within 24 hours of a scheduled move may incur a fee.
Dispute Resolution
In the unlikely event of a dispute, Birdview Logistics will aim to resolve matters amicably. However, we reserve the right to deny claims that do not meet the terms outlined above.
